1. Assumption of Risk
• By participating in 529 Founders events, including but not limited to social and networking events (“Events”), you acknowledge and accept that there may be inherent risks involved, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, or risks associated with alcohol consumption.
2. Release of Liability
• You agree to release, waive, and hold harmless 529 Founders, its owners, organizers, employees, volunteers, and affiliates from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained while participating in Community Events or while a Member of the Community.
• This release applies to any claims resulting from negligence by 529 Founders, its employees, or representatives.
3. Alcohol Consumption
• Alcohol may be available at certain 529 Founders Events. By participating in these Events, you acknowledge that alcohol will be consumed at your own discretion and risk.
• You agree to drink responsibly and assume full responsibility for your actions and behavior related to alcohol consumption, including any resulting injuries, damages, or legal consequences.
• Members under the age of 21 are prohibited from consuming alcohol at any Event. Valid identification may be requested to verify age before serving alcohol.
4. Personal Conduct
• All Members are expected to conduct themselves in a professional and respectful manner during Events and while interacting within the Community.
• 529 Founders reserves the right to revoke membership privileges or deny access to Events to any individual whose conduct is deemed disruptive, inappropriate, or poses a risk to other Members.
5. Medical Conditions
• You acknowledge that it is your responsibility to ensure your health and safety before participating in any Event. Please consult a physician if you have any medical conditions that may be affected by alcohol or social events.
• 529 Founders assumes no responsibility for medical expenses, personal health risks, or injuries related to pre-existing conditions.
6. Indemnification
• You agree to indemnify and hold harmless 529 Founders, its owners, organizers, employees, and affiliates from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, including legal fees, arising from your actions, conduct, or participation in Community Events.
7. Media Release
• By attending Events, you consent to being photographed or recorded. You grant 529 Founders the right to use your image or likeness in any media, including promotional materials and social media, without further permission or compensation.
8. Membership Acknowledgment
• By joining the Community and attending Events, you acknowledge that these terms apply to all current and future Events organized by 529 Founders.
• You confirm that you have read and understand these Terms & Conditions and Liability Waiver, and you agree that these terms will remain binding for as long as you are a Member.
9. Consent to Receive Email Communications
• By becoming a Member of 529 Founders, you consent to receive emails from us regarding membership-related updates, event reminders, announcements, and marketing communications.
• You acknowledge and agree that your email address may be used to communicate important updates about 529 Founders events, benefits, and promotional offers related to membership.
• You may opt out of marketing communications at any time by following the unsubscribe link provided in our emails. Please note that unsubscribing from marketing emails will not affect your ability to receive essential information regarding your membership or upcoming events.
• 529 Founders is committed to protecting your privacy and complying with applicable email marketing regulations, including the CAN-SPAM Act. We will not share or sell your information to third parties without your explicit consent.
10. Consent to Receive SMS/Text Communications
• As part of the membership application process, we may request separate consent to send SMS/text messages related to event reminders and member updates.
• You are not required to provide this consent to join 529 Founders, and you may opt-out of SMS/text messages at any time by following the instructions provided in each message.
